Malaysia Airlines helps medical tourism marketing

Aim to promote Malaysia as global healthcare destination
Malaysia Airlines has entered into a MoU with the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council to position the country as a premier healthcare destination regionally and globally.
Under the agreement, the airline will be promoted as the council’s preferred healthcare tourism airline. Both parties are also exploring marketing initiatives.
Malaysia Airlines will also support the council with sponsored tickets for fam trips to Malaysia, as well as offering discounted rates for guests travelling to the country for medical tourism.
The MoU, signed by Paul Simmons, Malaysia Airlines’ CEO, and Sherene Azli, CEO of the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council, took place during Malaysia Healthcare Media Week organised by the council.
