Man removed from Nordic flight for ‘Isis tattoo’

Cabin crew refuses to fly after Isis flag claim
A flight from Stockholm to Heraklion, Crete, was delayed last night when the cabin crew refused to fly after claiming that one of the passengers had an Isis flag tattoo.
The Norwegian plane had been due to take off at 21:00 when cabin crew noticed the tattoo on the man’s arm, which they thought was the flag of Islamic State, or a verse from the Quran.
The captain then took the decision to remove the man and his female companion from the flight. However, the man was not arrested and is not suspected of any crime.
Darko Ali, the commander of Stockholm Arlanda’s border police, confirmed that crew and a passenger “reacted to another passenger for some reason, and this caused concern. The captain decided that the person would not be allowed to remain on board and wanted that person to leave.”
