Marketing unites multiple festivals in “cool Copenhagen”

Incoming tourists will enjoy everything from art to rock to food

Wondercool is the name of Copenhagen’s new winter festival, due to take place throughout February. There are more than 100 experiences lined up so that visitors will be able to explore the worlds of music, food, fashion, architecture, art and design. With “Wondercool Copenhagen”, a play on the well-known phrase Wonderful Copenhagen, a number of the city’s previously separate festivals, events and locations are coming together for marketing under a single brand – the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, the Copenhagen Art Festival, the Copenhagen Fashion Festival, the Frost Rock Festival, the Danish Design Centre, the Danish Architecture Centre and Copenhagen Cooking.
So throughout February, the city promises it will “celebrate the fact that the Danish capital is bursting with life and cultural energy, despite the cold winter months”.
