Medical tourism is booming in Central Europe
Medical tourism has been booming in Central European countries ranging from Hungary and the Czech Republic to Lithuania and Latvia. Increasing numbers of people looking for medical procedures with a high quality and lower prices are visiting the region and returning satisfied.
Foremost among these is Poland, representatives from whose medical centres and spas will be visiting Stockholm and Oslo in November to strengthen ties with the trade.
The B2B meetings will be dedicated to medical tourism business oriented specialists, medical tourism facilitators and insurance companies. The goal is to attract more patients from Scandinavia to Polish medical modern facilities for professional medical procedures and reasonable prices for treatments. At the meetings with be facilities specialising in cardiosurgery, dentistry, orthopaedics and cybernetics, as well as wellness and medical spa centres, health resorts and medical tourism providers.
These Polish medical tourism workshops will take place at the Nordic C Hotel in Stockholm on November 18, from 10:30, and at the Clarion Collection Hotel Gabelshus in Oslo on November 19, from 09:30.
