Middle East’s biggest theme park opens

Biggest theme park complex includes movies and Lego
Dubai Parks and Resorts has just opened its third theme park, Motiongate Dubai, with an inauguration ceremony including shows, live performances and pyrotechnics.
The celebration took place in an arena above the river at Riverland Dubai, in the presence of more than 1,500 celebrities, dignitaries and media.
It marks the official launch of all three theme parks: Motiongate Dubai, the first ever collaboration between Columbia Pictures, DreamWorks and Lionsgate; Legoland Dubai, the first Legoland theme park in the Middle East, which will also house the Legoland Water Park; and Bollywood Parks, with rides and attractions based on some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters.
The destination is linked by Riverland Dubai, a themed retail and dining location, while guests can opt to stay at Lapita Hotel, a family hotel that is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection.
