Mikkeller to open new bars worldwide

It’s beer o’clock, somewhere around the globe
Beer bliss will soon be flowing from Denmark to Stockholm, Tórshavn in the Faroes, Berlin, Warsaw, Chiang Mai, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
Microbrewery sensation Mikkeller owned by Mikkel Borg Bjergsø will open these seven new bars around the world – plus a lunch restaurant in Viktoriagade, Copenhagen – in addition to the 27 bars that are already open.
“The ambition is to spread what we do to as many people as possible across the planet,” Bjergsø told TV2 News.
Mikkeller first opened in 2006 and has since spread to cities around the world including San Francisco, Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Taiwan, Barcelona and Reykjavik. Its profit after tax in 2016 was DKK 15 million (€2 million) on a turnover of DKK 175-200 million a year. Some of its brews are available on board SAS.
