More sign up for Nordic MICE Summit

The first Nordic MICE Summit, to be held in Malmö, is due in early November. “We think we’ve hit the spot,” say the organisers.

The doors will open at the start of November for the first edition of The Nordic MICE Summit, to be held in Malmö.

Organisers CCMG will host the summit on November 1-3 at the Clarion Hotel & Congress, Malmö Live, mainly targeting Nordic and European hotels, hotel chains, convention bureaus and destination management companies that have an interest in closer cooperation with northern European MICE buyers.

Exhibitors are expected from destinations such as Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the Baltic countries, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, France, Portugal, Italy, Monaco, Spain, Ireland and the UK.

“We have decided to launch this event as there isn’t anything like this on the Nordic markets at the present time. With the feedback we have got and support from the likes of Wonderful Copenhagen and Malmö Convention Bureau, the big hotel chains and CBVs, we think we’ve hit the spot,” CCMG CEO Lonni Gulliksen tells the magazine Conferences & Meetings World.

“At this point we have confirmed 47 suppliers and more or less the same number of hosted buyers. [We still] expect some more participants both on the suppliers and the buyers side.”
