Most London attack victims were tourists

Impact of attack “will reach around the world”
People from as many as 12 nationalities were among the victims of the terrorist attack in Westminster, London, on Wednesday, most of them tourists.
This morning, police named Khalid Masood, 52, born in Kent as Adrian Russell Ajao, as the man responsible for the attack in a 4×4, in which four victims have died and seven more are critically injured. In total, 50 people needed medical treatment.
Nationalities of the victims include South Korea, Spain, the US, France, Germany, Romania and Greece. Romanian tourist Andreea Cristea, 29, fell into the Thames from Westminster Bridge after being hit by the car. She has undergone brain surgery to remove a clot.
“It’s a poignant reminder that the impact of the attack on the capital will reach around the world,” acting deputy commissioner Mark Rowley, head of the counter-terrorism command, told journalists.
“Significant” arrests have been made linked to the attack as detectives try to find out if the killer was part of a broader conspiracy.
