A new sales manager wants to improve the group’s partnership with agents and companies.
A new sales manager for Air France and KLM in the Swedish market will start work on March 1.
Martin Kotte has five years’ experience at the airline group as a senior account manager and, most recently, as sales manager for Finland and the Baltic countries. He has also worked in the travel industry in Australia.
The move comes as KLM strengthens its presence in the Nordic market with a new route between Växjö and Amsterdam.
The group also “wishes to continue the positive development of key local destinations such as Linköping, Gothenburg and Stockholm,” says Paul Terstegge, general manager at Air France-KLM for northern Europe. “There Martin will play an important role.”
The new sales manager will primarily focus on improving Air France and KLM’s partnership both with travel agencies and with companies at the local level.
“I want to build a strong sales organisation with the goal of having more local representation. It is important that we are well represented in the places we fly from,” said Martin Kotte.
“I also look forward to contributing to Air France and KLM’s focused sustainability efforts by continuing to inform the market that there are ways to fly more climate-friendly.”
