New Berlin airport says more delays possible

German engineering employees walk away from site
On top of years of delays, Berlin’s new airport may be even further hampered due to the recent insolvency of the German subsidiary of the Dutch engineering group Royal Imtech, the airport’s operator warns.
Some of Imtech’s employees at the construction site in Berlin did not show up for work on Friday.
“It is clear to us that the insolvency has an impact on our planning, which sees construction completed in March 2016,” Karsten Muehlenfeld, chief executive of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, said.
