New executive VP at CWT is former Nordic chief

Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s new executive vice president is named

The new executive vice president for Carlson Wagonlit Travel for the UK and Ireland, the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe, effective from February 1, is Patrick Andersen.
Andersen joined CWT in 2008 as country manager for Denmark and became executive vice president for the whole of the Nordic region in 2009. In this role, Andersen successfully integrated Ark Travel into CWT Sweden and led the acquisition and integration of Kaleva Travel in Finland. Most recently, the agency’s Eastern Europe zone was added to his responsibilities. Andersen, who previously worked for 23 years at DHL, will now be based in the UK.
