Nordic Aviation Capital, a regional aircraft trading and leasing company with the world’s biggest ATR fleet, based in Billund, Denmark, is bolstering its presence in the Asia Pacific region with the appointment of Bill Rossi as vice president responsible for sales and acquisitions based out of its Singapore office.

Rossi joins the company from Embraer Aircraft, where for the past five and a half years he worked as sales director for the Asia Pacific region.

“We are delighted to welcome Bill, such a high calibre and respected individual to our sales team,” said Martin Møller, chairman of Nordic Aviation Capital. “Asia Pacific has become a very important market for us, where we now have 50 aircraft contracted with Asia Pacific customers.”

Nordic Aviation Capital, founded in Denmark in 1990, has been established in Singapore for many years. It focuses on regional aircraft, mainly turboprop, with a fleet of nearly 200 aircraft and 36 customers worldwide. It has regional offices in Ireland, Canada and Singapore, which supply aircraft to top-tier carriers such as Lufthansa, Air France, US Airways, Garuda, Avianca, Flybe, Azul and Etihad Regional (Darwin Airline).
