Last year’s inaugural summit was staged in Malmö, but the second event will be held in a Danish seaside manor.
The second edition of the Nordic MICE Summit will take place on October 24-26, to be held this year at the “beautifully located” Rungstedgaard, a former manor by the Øresund Strait surrounded by lush gardens.
The event will host around 60 high-level MICE suppliers with a strong focus on the Nordics as well as from other parts of Europe, with around 50 “high-potential” MICE buyers from the Nordic countries and beyond also attending.
Over the course of a day-and-a-half, “a comprehensive programme of matchmaking speed date meetings as well as carefully curated activities and events will create a unique marketplace that will aim to encourage participants to build and maintain strong corporate networks and loyal business relationships within the Nordic MICE market,” the organisers promise.
The first summit, which had the same structure and aims, attracted 100 attendees from the Nordics and the rest of Europe for matchmaking, meetings and teambuilding activities. It was staged at the Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö Live in the first days of November last year.
Registration for this year’s version is now open. The grand Rungstedgaard hotel, which has among its perks a restaurant featuring designer furniture and panoramic sea views, is less than 30 minutes’ drive or train ride north of Copenhagen.
