Nordic specialist in UK bankrupt

Firm traded using names Simply Northern Lights and Simply Sweden
Simply Sweden, a travel specialist focused on sending tourists from the UK to the Nordic countries, has ceased trading, the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed.
The operator, a member of the Association of Independent Tour Operators and based in South Humberside, traded under the names Simply Northern Lights and Simply Sweden and under the websites and
Simply Sweden, which set up in 2006, also sold packages to Norway. It offered photography, snowmobile and wilderness packages as well as husky driving among its products.
The company is now in the hands of corporate recovery specialist Redman Nichols Butler in the town on Scunthorpe. The operator’s homepage directs clients with holidays not including flights to Affirma Insurance, while the CAA will handle claims that include a flight element.
