Nordic travel retail event reveals speakers

A seminar set for the end of May has announced the speakers, including a bestselling author and a footballer.

A former Premier League footballer, Jan Åge Fjørtoft, and bestselling author Morten Hansen will address delegates at the Nordic Travel Retail Group’s 2019 seminar, to take place at the Scandic Holmenkollen Park in Oslo on May 23.

The seminar will look at trends in the Nordic and Baltic travel retail market, with an overall theme of how culture affects business, such as performance culture and the commercial value of culture.

Hansen, the keynote speaker of the day, is management professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and co-author of the New York Times bestseller Great by Choice.

The former professor at Harvard Business School is ranked as one of the world’s most influential management experts by Thinkers50.

Booked at the day’s inspirational speaker, Jan Åge Fjørtoft is a former Norwegian professional footballer and now an experienced speaker on the themes of performance and performance culture.

He is also well known for heading broadcasts of Champions League football and other sportscasts.
