Norway’s ports are working hard to promote themselves as cruise destinations, Cruise Industry News reports. Cruise Norway is trying to attract more turnaround business by leading an ambitious homeporting project.
Telemark has pushed its way onto the port scene as a new transit destination for cruise ships and Alesund is building up its shore excursions. Oslo, meanwhile, has become a key stop for cruise lines sailing the Baltic and the fjords.
