Norwegian lists most popular websites on inflight wifi

Low-cost carrier Norwegian, whose planes provide free on-board wifi, has been listening in to the mile-high surfing habits of its passengers and reveals the favourite websites used on its UK routes.
News sites, property portals and online auction sites all feature in the surprising list of UK passengers’ top ten most visited websites in the sky.
Norwegian now flies to 34 short and long haul destinations from Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh. On all European flights, more than 650,000 passengers used free on-board wifi in July alone.
For the “in-flight informed”, the news websites of the BBC, the Guardian and the Daily Mail make up three of the top four places. House hunters also fly, and the Rightmove property site appears at number 5 on the list.
Online auction site eBay appears at number 10 and the online shopping site Amazon also features in the top ten, revealing that passengers never stop shopping. The top ten list of most visited websites by UK passengers is:
