Norwegian: new routes for Danes and Swedes

New routes and more capacity from CPH and STO

Norwegian is strengthening its focus on the Danish market by launching six new routes from Copenhagen Kastrup Airport in connection with its 2013 summer program. The new direct routes will be Corfu, Lisbon, Liverpool, Madrid, Montpellier and Sarajevo. At the same time, Norwegian will increase capacity to a number of existing destinations including Faro, Malaga, Nice and Palma.
The airline will also fly daily from Stockholm to Rome, while Barcelona will have 12 flights a week. When the company opens a base at London Gatwick there will, from April 2013, be five daily flights between Stockholm and London. Norwegian says it is also investing in the Swedish domestic market, launching extra flights between Stockholm and both Gothenburg and Umeå. In spring there will be 40 flights a week between Copenhagen and Stockholm, while Stockholm-Helsinki increases from three to four daily departures.
