Norwegian says Swedes raped her in Turkey

Swedish and Norwegian teens involved in assault at hotel

News is emerging that a 19-year-old Norwegian girl was allegedly raped while on holiday in the Turkish resort of Alanya (formerly Alaiye) by four Swedish tourists. According to the girl, she met the four Swedish teenagers in a bar, then they left together and went to the Swedes’ hotel. However, the hotel receptionist refused to allow the group to enter and they went to the beach for a swim. Returning to the hotel later they all managed to get in.
The girl told police that she was tired and wanted to sleep but, according to press reports, the men proceeded to rape her until the morning. The men, aged 18 and 19, have been arrested by Turkish police but deny the assault
