Operator boosts Nordic travel with tech and nature

Simply Sweden improves access to Icehotel with real-time booking
A Scandinavian travel specialist based in the UK will have direct access to real-time bookings for the Icehotel from February. The new system will enable Simply Sweden to source and book rooms more quickly in Swedish Lapland. Flights for the Icehotel in 2016-17 go on sale this month.
Simply Sweden is also offering five new adventures for spring and summer, available for agents with 10% commission.
The trips include, for example, a new journey to experience both the Midnight Sun and the Northern Lights. The one-off escorted tour, called Wonders of the Sun, travels to Svalbard, the Norwegian fjords and the Swedish mountains in August.
The 11-night trip, which will be unrepeatable for years and has only 16 places, has been precision-timed to arrive during the Midnight Sun just when the Northern Lights are at the peak of their cyclical activity and visible under a new moon.
