Passenger put in prison after shouting at air crew

US businessman imprisoned in UK after drunken episode on BA plane

A court in the UK has given a prison sentence of three months to an American mortgage consultant because he had been “thoroughly abusive” during a trans-Atlantic British Airways flight from Phoenix, Arizona, to London. Already drunk from a pre-flight drinking session with friends, Timothy Bradley began a torrent of four-letter insults and abuse when the cabin crew refused to serve him any more alcohol. One crew member said in court that he thought Bradley would attack him after he replaced a female colleague who the passenger had been trying to chat up.
Bradley was arrested on landing at Heathrow on August 20. He was later “totally and utterly ashamed” of his actions, according to his lawyer.
