Pilots accept Air France-KLM restructuring

Plan includes voluntary transfers to low-cost Transavia

Pilots at Air France-KLM have backed plans that change their contracts and working conditions, with 67% of the pilots in the SNPL union voting for the proposals. This is part of a three-year restructuring and cost-cutting scheme at Air France-KLM called Transform 2015, which is designed to reduce operating costs by €2 billion.
The overall agreement does not include job cuts, but it does include voluntary transfers with bonuses to the Air France-KLM low-cost wing Transavia. Ground staff have already backed similar restructuring.
