Police break up brawl at Copenhagen Airport

Fight involved criminal gangs active in Denmark

Many police were called in to break up a brawl involving at least 25 people at Copenhagen Airport on Sunday evening. This fight, believed to have involved criminal gangs active in Denmark, erupted shortly before 18:00.

“At least 25 people were fighting when we arrived and we made ten arrests,” Mads Firlings, a Copenhagen Police officer said to DR News, adding that the brawlers had gang connections.

“As things stand, it seems they ran into each other by chance,” he said.

The gangs in question are Loyal to Familia and Satudarah MC, a new gang of Danish and Dutch bikers. No one was badly injured. Those arrested have since been released.
