Police stop another terror attack in Tunisia

Militants were to attack beaches and security in Sousse
Police in Tunisia have stopped another plot to attack tourists in the beach resort of Sousse, where 38 people were killed in June.
Around 15 suspected Islamist extremists were arrested, the interior ministry says. It is believed they had trained in Syria and Libya. The arrests are the result of a large-scale counter-terrorism operation.
According to officials, the militants had planned to target beaches and security centres in Sousse, as well as the country’s politicians. The latest arrests follow earlier arrests on Monday of seven women suspected of being part of Jund al-Khilafa, the Islamic State group’s Tunisia affiliate.
