Popularity of all-inclusive holidays rises

Operator wants to meet more demand for European destinations

A prominent UK tour operator has said that, following the success of all-inclusive holidays in destinations such as the Caribbean, Mexico and Egypt, demand is now increasing for the same kind of all-inclusive breaks elsewhere in Europe.
Shearings, a coach tour operator popular with families looking for reduced-cost, inexpensive holidays, says that clients are now looking for all-inclusive availability closer to home.
This includes destinations in Northern Europe. Germany and Austria stand alongside Spain and Italy as vacation getaways currently seeing an increase in demand from UK families. Shearings says that bookings for its all-inclusive products in Europe have risen from 21% to 27% during the course of a year.
