Q3 net profit at CPH rises 18% on year

Airport sees 6.6% more passengers, reaching 17.3 million

The excellent summer at CPH is reflected in the quarterly net profit figures for Copenhagen Airports A/S released yesterday, increasing 18% on the year to DKK 267 million (€36 million). Higher revenues, growing to DKK 925 million for the quarter from DKK 856 million for the same quarter a year ago, came from the airport’s shopping centre and parking as well as from a 2.6% rise in passenger traffic. Traffic revenues increased to DKK 520 million from DKK 487.6 million. Concession revenues rose to DKK 260.5 million from DKK 230.6 million.
Passenger traffic for the first nine months of 2011 grew by 6.6% to reach 17.3 million people, pushing net profits for the period to DKK 590 million.
