Qatar Airways to fly Dreamliners to Scandinavia

Selected flights to Nordic capitals to be served by 787

Qatar Airways has revealed an expansion of its Boeing 787 services to Europe with new Dreamliners being deployed on three Scandinavian routes. The Doha-based carrier will launch 787 flights to Stockholm on August 1, followed a month later to Copenhagen and Oslo from September 1.
Qatar Airways operates daily flights to each of the three capitals from its hub, with a total weekly capacity of 21 services. Selected flights to each city will be served by Dreamliners.
“Our Scandinavian routes have grown in stature and importance since we began flying to the region in 2007,” said Akbar Al Baker, the airline’s chief executive. “I have always said the Dreamliner is a state-of-the-art aircraft designed to change the passenger travel experience because of the space, comfort, interior look and feel and, from an operational point of view, a highly fuel-efficient jet aircraft.”
