Rezidor announces new ski resort in Norway

Park Inn Trysil Mountain Resort in south-eastern Norway to open in December

The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced that the 369-room Park Inn Trysil Mountain Resort in Norway will open in December – just in time for the ski season. A short distance from the slopes, the resort will comprise rooms, suites and apartments with up to three bedrooms. Once the resort opens, Rezidor will have 25 hotels in operation or under development in Norway. Six of these are Park Inn by Radisson properties. “With Radisson Blu already present in nearly every primary and secondary Norwegian city, our growth strategy is now heavily focused on Park Inn by Radisson”, said Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor.
Trysil is located in south-eastern Norway, 2.5 hours’ drive from Oslo. It is one of Scandinavia’s premier ski resorts and also attracts significant international business. For the non-skier, Trysil offers a first-class golf course, canoeing, fishing, cycling and hiking in alluring countryside.
