Route to link Copenhagen and Delhi

Air India to connect Danish and Indian capitals
Air India of the Star Alliance has been looking at a route to Scandinavia for years. Now it is reality – from May it will fly to Copenhagen.
Via Twitter and Facebook, Air India announces that the May opening the route between India’s capital New Delhi and Copenhagen will be flown with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with seating for 256 passengers.
There will be four weekly flights on the route, which was previously briefly flown by SAS more than ten years ago.
A spokesperson from Air India told Indian media that Copenhagen had been selected to ensure effective coverage of Scandinavia and easy access to Oslo and Stockholm. It will be the airline’s tenth destination in Europe.
The airline also announced a new route from Delhi to Washington DC, to start in July.
