SAS launches Stockholm-Ibiza

New direct once-a-week summer-only route
SAS says it will introduce a new direct route between Stockholm and Ibiza during the coming summer. There will be departures every Wednesday from June 28 to August 9.
It will supplement SAS flights already announced to destinations such as Malaga, Palma, Palermo, Nice and Split.
Compared to last year’s summer program, SAS says that 370,000 more seats will be available on its flights to Portugal, Croatia, Spain, Italy and Greece. That includes 170,000 more in the peak summer period, from the end of June to the start of August.
“We see a continued demand of popular leisure destinations and continue to develop our route network and our destinations,” says Fredrik Henriksson, head of media relations.
“Some of our new direct routes from Scandinavia are to Lisbon, Malta, the Faroe Islands, Pristina and Shannon.”
