SAS signs up for new ATRs

Agreement on wet lease of four ATR72-600s

SAS has signed a Letter of Intent with Jet Time, a B2B Danish airline based at Kastrup, for an agreement on the wet lease of four new ATR72-600s. The agreement would be for 36 months, so that the new planes can be used on routes from Copenhagen and Stockholm in the SAS winter 2013-14 and summer 2014 timetables. Each of the new ATR72-600s can accommodate 72 passengers. At the same time, SAS is continuing its wet lease arrangements with Cimber and Braathens Regional.
Jet Time’s customers are travel agencies, private companies, organisations and other airlines, on behalf of which it carries out aircraft operations. It has its own maintenance department, located at Copenhagen Airport South. Since its inception in 2006, Jet Time has built a fleet of 13 Boeing 737 aircraft and more than 400 employees.
