SAS wins in social media customer service

Airline complemented highly at Swedish Digital Awards
SAS has been named a winner at the Swedish Digital Awards, in the category for Best Customer Service in Social Media.
It took home the prize for best customer service in this regard because “SAS is pursuing an exemplary customer service in social media,” the awards’ organisers said. It launched customer service on social media in 2010.
“They respond consistently, quickly, both on client posts and comments on their own posts. SAS responds factually, personally and with links to more relevant information. They provide quick responses, even in customers’ specific cases, such as individual flight departures and delays. As a whole, SAS delivers customer service in social media on a very high level.”
