Scandic appoints new financial chief

Jan Johansson has years of experience in CFO role
Scandic Hotels Group has appointed a new chief financial officer. Jan Johansson, 53, will take over from Gunilla Rudebjer who has been CFO at Scandic since 2009 and will leave the company at the end of August.
Johansson has years of experience in the CFO role, including spells at listed companies such as Eniro and Nobia. Most recently, since 2011 he has been in the position at Apoteket, a state-owned pharmaceutical retailer.
Scandic says that there could be a period of up to three months where an interim CFO will be in place, as the new appointee may not start work until November.
“Jan has vast experience from his role as CFO at several listed companies. His work on the transformation of Apoteket into a competitive enterprise has further strengthened his leadership”, said Frank Fiskers, Scandic Hotels Group’s president and chief executive.
