Etihad Airways flight EY474 from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta hit severe and unexpected turbulence just 45 minutes before arriving at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The Airbus A330-200 landed safely. Nine passengers were taken to hospital, while 22 others were released from the airport clinic after being treated for minor injuries.
