Shakeup yields new TUI Nordic chief

Henrik Norlin takes top spot from Christian Clemens

TUI Travel has announced a management reshuffle, in which Christian Clemens, currently managing director of Tui Nordic, will become managing director of Tui Deutschland in July. Henrik Norlin, currently Tui Nordic’s chief operating officer and finance director, will replace him. Clemens will also join the group’s management board.
In other changes, Volker Bottcher, currently managing director for Central Europe, will now focus on German specialist businesses as well as the source markets of Austria, Poland and Switzerland. He will sit on a newly created “mainstream sector board” and will remain on the group management board. Bart Brackx, managing director for Western Europe, will focus on TUI Belgium until the end of the financial year, as he plans to spent more time with his family. Meanwhile, Elie Bruyninckx, currently chief executive for Belgium, will take on full responsibility for Belgium, Italy and Spain from October.
