Singapore Airlines seeks cargo sales representative

Duties at CPH include outreach sales activities in Denmark

Singapore Airlines  Cargo is seeking an employee with sales and logistics experience in the aviation industry for its branch at Copenhagen Airport, preferably by 1 April. The new employee will join an experienced team, where duties include outreach sales activities in Denmark, client contact, preparing offers and various reporting functions.

The job offer reads: “We assume you have both a driving license and car. We will, however, offer a transport scheme. You must have high stress tolerance, a good outlook, and also the courage to be flexible about working hours, as there may be late nights sometimes.”

Candidates must have a background in aviation and shipping, and speak English fluently both written and spoken. It is also a distinct advantage to have sales experience. The successful candidate will be trained continuously, notably courses at the airline’s headquarters in Singapore.

Singapore Airlines Cargo is one of the world’s largest shipping companies, and operates nine times weekly at CPH, hence the six times with B747-400 freighters.

Applications should be received no later than Monday 27 February 2012.
