Report compares ski safety regulations
Ski safety regulations at some of the world’s most popular winter resorts are compared in a new study.
In February, the Association of British Travel Agents released key protection and advice surrounding ski safety, and it was with this is mind that Airport Parking & Hotels created a guide comparing rules around the world to help safety-conscious skiers plan ahead.
It compares the regulations, insurance requirements and provision, call-out costs and the proximity of trauma care centres.
Resorts looked at include Breckenridge, USA; Chamonix, France; Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy; Hakkoda, Japan; Keystone, USA; La Plagne, France; Les Deux Alpes, France; Les Trois Vallees, France; Morzine, France; St Moritz, Switzerland; St. Anton, Austria; Vail, USA; Valle d’Aosta, Italy; and Verbier, Switzerland.
