Snake bites passenger on aircraft

Bite causes EgyptAir pilot to make emergency landing

An EgyptAir pilot decided that an emergency landing at Hurghada airport was necessary on Monday after a snake in the cabin bit a passenger from Jordan. The passenger appeared to have concealed the snake in his luggage. At first, crew were stunned by the passenger’s screams, unaware of the presence of a snake on the plane.
After the emergency landing the passenger was taken away for medical treatment. Local authorities confiscated the snake and the flight continued on to Kuwait.
