Spotlight to shine on Africa and Indian Ocean islands

Workshop soon taking place in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo
The Spotlight on Africa & Indian Ocean Islands Workshop will be taking place in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo a few weeks, promoting business and leisure travel from the Nordic region to Africa and the Indian Ocean islands.
People in the travel trade will be able to network with tour operators, beach resorts, airlines, tourist offices and safari lodges, update their knowledge, learn about new developments and negotiate rates.
The workshops will be of interest to all travel professionals, product managers, contract managers, travel consultants and travel trade media wanting to improve their knowledge and sales in Africa.
Very much an annual event in Scandinavia, Spotlight is bringing 24 exhibitors this year including four new exhibitors in particular from Zanzibar. The organisers promise plentiful information about South Africa, Zanzibar, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mauritius, Namibia, Madagascar, Tanzania, Seychelles, Mozambique and Ethiopia.
The workshops will be staged at the Hotel Birger Jarl in Stockholm on November 24, the Scandic Hotel Copenhagen on November 25 and the Scandic Solli in Oslo on November 26. At each venue, the trade should arrive to register at around 09:30, when coffee and tea and pastries will be served. The free-flow workshop will take place from 10:00 to 13:00 and lunch will be served (and a prize draw) from 13:00 until 14:00. More information can be found here.
