It was feared the Belgian bus could be used for terrorism
A bus for tourists that vanished from an overnight parking area in Copenhagen just over a month ago has been found near Helsingør, Denmark.
It was feared that the Belgian bus could be used in a terror attack, given the use of heavy vehicles in such attacks in Europe recently. But police are confident there are no terror links to the theft.
A 60-year-old Serbian national has been arrested at his home in the Valby district of Copenhagen and charged with stealing the bus. He will be held on remand for 15 days.
Working with a number of perpetrators who have yet to be found, the suspect is thought to be responsible for stealing a number of buses, which are then moved abroad.
