Strengthened focus on Danish media

From June 30 will be closed, and news about travel and aviation in the Nordic region will instead be accessible via our Danish websites.

Danish-based Travelmedia Nordic ApS, the publisher of, has decided to strengthen its focus on and, the leading sites for the travel industry in Denmark.

As a consequence, will be phased out by the end of June.

“There is a huge amount of travel and aviation media in English language and it is essential to have critical mass in user visits and to find the right position in the market. This is a very costly process to maintain and develop, and the return on investment will have a larger potential in our home market,” explains Ole Kirchert Christensen, managing director of Travelmedia Nordic.

“An estimated 30 percent of our readers speak one of the three Scandinavian languages, and they will be able to follow our news in Danish via and,” he emphasizes.

News articles on the two sites are published every day, and a newsletter will consolidate the stories from the last 24 hours every weekday.

The Danish STANDBY-newsletter is sent out at 12:00 (UTC+1) with stories about airlines, tour operators, hotels and other players in the travel industry, and at 06:00 (UTC+1) every weekday morning a newsletter from will be distributed with the latest stories on aviation in the Nordic market.

We hope that the confidence in – formerly TTG Nordic – built up through the years can be transferred to our two Danish sites.

Thank you for having followed us on our journey so far.
