Strike action by ground staff in France this week

Delays are likely on hundreds of Air France flights
Strike action has been called by ground staff unions in France for October 22, Air France warns. The airline plans to operate all of its 994 flights, but delays are likely.
Air France advises passengers to check in and print baggage tags online to avoid difficulties on the ground. Before going to the airport, it says passengers should check the flight information available on the website in the “flight times in real time” section.
“Air France is doing all it can to limit any inconvenience. Its teams present at the airport and its commercial services are mobilised to assist customers with their travel plans,” the airline says.
For real-time information, Air France has an “AF Connect” service available in 13 languages, which informs customers worldwide on their mobile phones or by email. To be personally notified in this way, Air France is offering customers to update their personal contact details in their reservation file or Flying Blue profile on the airline’s website in the section “View / modify my bookings”.
