Strike likely to hit Oslo Airport

More than 17,000 workers to go on strike

Buses and ferries, fuel and catering supplies at Oslo Gardermoen Airport are likely to get stuck at an announced strike from Monday 8 April.

Trade unions have selected the companies to begin strike from 06.00 CET on Monday April 8. The negotiation deadline for new agreements will expire at midnight on Sunday April 7.

Among those appointed to the strike are 1,250 bus drivers. Refuelling aircraft and catering services at Gardermoen will not provide services either. A number of ferry routes will be closed and the same applies to breweries.

Strike lists include more than 17,000 workers in a variety of industries, including transportation.
