Sweden’s BIG expands to Denmark

Agency’s Danish country manager is Stefan Tarp
Swedish travel agency BIG Travel says it is expanding its operations to Denmark. The Malmö-based company has already opened a new office in Copenhagen.
Danish leisure and corporate customers will, through the global Radius Travel network, be able to receive all types of travel-related services from the full-service agency.
Country manager for Denmark is Stefan Tarp, who will be responsible for the development and management of the Danish organisation.
“I am pleased to introduce BIG Travel to the Danish market, as well as to welcome our global Radius customers,” he says.
“I am very pleased that we now have the opportunity to expand to Denmark and that Stefan Tarp has joined BIG Travel. Stefan has a long and solid background in the travel industry and is well-known in Denmark for his efforts and excellent qualities,” says CEO Jan-Anders Holmqvist.
The BIG group also includes Resecity and altogether runs 33 travel agency branches in Sweden. It has operations in Norway and Finland, and since August 23 VIP Travel has also been part of the group.
