Novair to fly from Sweden to Kenya every two weeks
The Swedish charter airline Novair has resumed its flights to Mombassa for the first time since Kenya’s post-election violence in 2007-08. Flying every two weeks from Sweden to Mombasa and attracting tourists from all over Scandinavia, the arrival of the airline’s A321-200 with a capacity of 211 passengers is a vote of confidence in Kenya’s tourism industry, said Jennifer Opondo of the Kenya Tourist Board.
Mombasa Private Safaris general manager Cleophas Mong’are: “We are happy now that KTB in conjunction with Private Safaris have managed to bring the Scandinavians back. We hope for the best.”
