Swedish hotel among world’s most secluded

Sweden’s Treehotel named one of most secluded destinations

Demand is increasing for some of the world’s most remote locations and the hotels that are occasionally located there. Sweden’s fascinatingly designed Treehotel is named by The Huffington Post as one of 10 most outstanding. Set in forests an hour from Lulea and a short distance from the Arctic Circle, these unique tree houses include the “Mirrorcube”, whose exterior is covered with mirrored glass, and the Bird’s Nest, which resembles a nest but has a modern interior. The “rooms” can only be reached by retractable stairs.
Another hotel in the list, the Hotel Arctic in Ilulissat, Greenland, is a seven-hour journey from Copenhagen. The northernmost hotel in the world, it can only be reached by dogsled. You can stay in an igloo by the Ice Fjord.
