Swedish mountain hotel hosts “girls’ weekend”

Storhogna Högfjällshotell & Spa holds annual tradition
According to what is now an annual tradition, Storhogna Högfjällshotell & Spa in Vemdalen, Sweden, is holding its popular “girls’ weekend”, with activities inside the hotel and out.
For three days, the Swedish mountain retreat is filled only with women. This year’s theme is adventure and pleasure.
The hotel has expanded the concept and this year 26 female entrepreneurs will be exhibiting their products with everything from furniture to health tests to sports.
Some of the event this year takes place in the grounds outside, where there is a focus on outdoor activities, equipment and outdoor gear.
The fair is free for visitors to visit and for exhibitors to exhibit, enabling women in the region to network, start their own initiatives and exchange experiences. There are wine and cheese tastings, yoga, water aerobics, mountain hiking and lectures focusing on health, mindfulness, mountain adventure and self-healing.
