Swedish spa hotel partners Malmö Aviation

Storhogna hotel and spa announce air travel partnership

Storhogna Högfjällshotell & Spa in Vemdalen, set amid the mountains of central Sweden, has announced cooperation with regional airline Malmö Aviation, hoping it will make it easier for people reach the Swedish peaks from southern Sweden.

The airline currently flies to nearby Östersund Airport. The partnership means that members of Malmö Aviation’s frequent flyer program can earn and use bonus points staying at the hotel.

In addition, members will be able to take advantage of customised special offers at Storhogna, which specialises as a base for family-friendly alpine skiing with slopes and lifts starting only 75 meters from the hotel. There are also well-groomed cross-country trails close by.

Anette Friberg, responsible for Malmö Aviation’s bonus program, said she was “delighted to have tied another first-class hotel to our frequent flyer program,” calling Storhogna “a mountain destination that suits businesses as well as families and offers something for everyone, both winter and summer. The hotel’s personal sense and varied range is something completely in line with what our members are demanding.”

Meanwhile, the hotel’s Charlotte Mannerson said that the collaboration “enables us to reach a new audience in the form of guests from southern Sweden, traveling from Malmö and Gothenburg.”
