UK advice comes as Syrian crisis continues
There is an “increased threat of terrorism” in Morocco, according to the official UK government’s travel advice.
“The Moroccan authorities have warned of an increased threat linked to the number of Moroccans belonging to international terrorist organisations operating in Syria and Iraq”, the updated advice from the UK’s Foreign Office said on Monday.
The advice comes as the Syrian crisis continues, with the Moroccan government warning of a growing concern about terrorism following the escalating situation in Syria and Iraq.
