Terrorists kidnap tourists in Cameroon

Group of seven French tourists includes four children

Seven tourists from France including four children have been seized in Cameroon by a “known terrorist group based in Nigeria”, in the words of French President Francois Hollande. The incident happened close to the border with Nigeria.
The tourists, who are part of the same family, were probably taken to northern Nigeria where the Islamist militants Boko Haram are active. The family had been returning from a trip to Waza National Park when they were attacked by men on motorcycles.
